I love Thingz! How would you define your style?
We define our style as a warm, colorful and comfortable take on contemporary design. Thingz was founded with an eye towards providing homeowners with contemporary furnishings and lighting that are warmer than typical contemporary styles. We believe contemporary homes can be both stylish and livable at the same time. Our designers blend typical contemporary looks with fresh styles and warm fabrics to create unique looks for discriminating homeowners in and around Scottsdale Arizona.
My needs are very specific. Do you make custom furniture for clients?
Thingz offers both semi-custom and fully-custom furniture lines including custom sofas and sectionals, tables, bedroom sets, and entertainment centers. Our design team will help you design a piece that is perfect for your home. Then our custom fabricators will hand-craft your custom piece of furniture to meet you specific needs.
I am trying to figure out the best way to decorate my home. Do you offer interior design services?
Yes we do! For local clients we offer in-home consultation service where we can assist in floor planning, colorization and accessorizing your home. For client who are not located close to one of our stores, we work from blueprints and digital photos on a frequent basis. Let us know what your design needs are and we will figure out how to help you.
What is the lead time on orders?
Our lead times vary based on a number of factors. Many items are available for immediate shipping. Other items are available on a special order basis. These items typically require a longer lead time due to the requirement for some level of customization. Lead times on special order items vary from two to twelve weeks. Please ask upon ordering and will we provide our best estimate regarding turnaround times.
We need a better lighting plan but don't know where to start. Do you offer lighting design services?
At Thingz, we are well known for our lighting expertise. We are particularly knowledge about specification of low-voltage systems. Whether you are working on a new home or a remodel, we have lighting designers on staff to assist you in designing a lighting plan that accomplishes all of your requirements. We can also assist you with fixture selection and help to coordinate installation of your lighting products.
I love your furniture but a lot of it is too expensive for me. Do you ever have sales?
We typically hold two floor model sales each year including one in the spring and one in the fall. If you are on our mailing list you should receive a notification via mail.
Where are you located?
We are locating in Arizona. We have two stores include one in Tempe's Emerald Design Center and the Scottsdale Design Center.
What is your return policy?
Showroom sales: With non-sale items in our showroom we are happy to provide a 7 day, no-hassle, return policy. With all special order items, our return policy will vary depend on the return terms of the manufacturer. Typically returns are possible provided the goods are in new condition though a restocking fee may apply. Contact the store for details. Sale merchandise however is typically sold as is and all sales are final.
