This table is just stunning and very durable. You can put hot dishes on it and not worry about getting rings or scratches on the surface.

We purchased this table for it's durability, and it has exceeded our expectations on that front. It's made of recycled steel, and we've put very hot plates and very cold dishes on it. We've had it for 3 years, and it looks brand new. I'd highly recommend this table for anyone that needs incredible durability and also wants something stylish. The ability to order it in any size and shape is what ultimately brought us to purchase the table, and we've been extremely happy with it. FYI...the designer from whom we bought the table was extremely knowledgeable as well - added bonus!

This entire line of tables is great for everyday use. The steel (and finish) is so durable it seems to hold up to all sorts of abuse. Thingz has a video in the store showing how it can be superheated (I think it uses a blow torch), written on with permanent marks, banged on with a hammer and nothing seems to damage it. By the way, I am a designer at Thingz and people love this table!
